Edward worked as a Chartered Surveyor prior to joining his family firm, Bruce Stevenson in 1996 to specialise in estate and property insurance.

He was appointed Managing Director in 2001 and has since grown the business through strategic acquisitions and a focus on niche sectors in a variety of industries. Edward has championed our core values of Assured Consistency, Great Teamwork and Exceptional Customer Service, both internally and externally and continues to promote Bruce Stevenson as the ‘Broker of Choice’ for both staff and clients.

In 2010 Bruce Stevenson achieved Chartered Broker status which is a testament to our integrity and expertise. This status demonstrates a commitment to delivering the highest professional level of knowledge, advice and ethical practice.

Our high standards of customer service have also been independently recognised. Having already achieved Gold status through the Investor in Customer process in 2015, in 2019 we were delighted to not only retain the Gold status but to increase our Net Promoter Score to an average of 9.04. Across every industry and sector, this makes Bruce Stevenson the highest-rated Investor in Customer assessed organisation in Scotland.
