He joined the company in 2008 as Vice President and General Counsel and became Secretary of the Board in 2010. Previously, he worked at the Puerto Rico Telephone Company as Vice President and General Counsel. Early in his career, he served as executive director of Proyecto Península de Cantera, a community-based development initiative in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He serves on the boards of the BlueCross BlueShield Association, BCS Financial Corporation, and Claro Puerto Rico. He is a Legacy Council member of the Puerto Rico Boys and Girls Clubs. In addition, he chairs the Medicaid and Medicare Advantage Products Association of Puerto Rico (MMAPA) and the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer, Puerto Rico Chapter. Bobby is a licensed attorney in Puerto Rico. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University, an M.B.A. at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Juris Doctor at Stanford Law School. He also completed graduate studies in international relations and diplomacy at the School of Diplomacy of Spain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
