About Paul Goodman Paul Goodman was appointed as Finch Group Managing Director in May 2020. Paul brings with him many years’ experience within the insurance broking industry, most recently as Regional Sales Director at JLT Specialty Ltd. During his time at JLT Paul was responsible for delivering sales, devising broking strategies, and had national responsibility for the manufacturing sector proposition. Prior to JLT Paul held senior regional roles at Bluefin and Oval. He brings significant commercial broking experience to the Group, as well as an excellent track record in managing and motivating teams to deliver significant results. About Finch Group Finch was founded by Peter Finch in 1971 when he left Sun Life Assurance to set up as an insurance broker and financial advisor. Very much a family business, Peter was joined by his son Matthew Finch. After 27 years, Peter retired from the business in 1998, with Matthew welcoming Vincent Gardner into the partnership to help build the business. The business flourished into one of the most respected Commercial Insurance teams in the South, whilst boasting a boutique Private Client team that caters for all of our individual client needs, based at our head office in Reading.
